About La Terra

My story

La Terra traces it's conceptual roots to the combination of contemporary architectural design principles with delicate traditional gold and silversmithing techniques. Each piece draws inspiration from how objects interact with our bodies to form personal statements, or tell the stories of who we are and where we are going.

The brand was founded by Anahita Poura Martinsson, an Iranian designer with a background in architecture and interior design. While living in Milano, Italy her passion for jewelry and fashion grew into the brand concept of La Terra which she developed In Gothenburg, Sweden.

La Terra means "The Earth". It symbolizes the place from which we draw materials and inspiration; the base on which art is formed by our imagination, and shaped by our hands.

Each piece is hand-crafted with care in a small studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Precious Talents 2018 | Stockholm

La Terra has been selected as Precious Talents 2018 by Precious Fair in Stockholm.

Precious Talents is a competition that rewards innovative and creative talents in the Nordic watch and jewellery industry. A prestigious jury selects a small number of firms that are invited to exhibit their collections at the upcoming Precious. The jury members are Åsa Axelson, Precious project manager, Sara Winter, Swedish Fashion Council and Johan Magnusson, web editor for Plaza Kvinna and Plaza Magazine.
